Heart of 4-H Award Winners

Lancaster County 4-H presents a Heart of 4-H Award to a Lancaster County 4-H volunteer each month in recognition of outstanding volunteer service. The purpose of this award is to recognize volunteers who are, indeed, the heart of 4-H. Award winners receive an award certificate, balloons, a “Volunteers are the Heart of 4-H” polo shirt and a 4-H mug. Lancaster County 4-H thanks all volunteers for helping make a difference in young people's lives!

I clearly remember volunteers who were influential when I was a 4-H’er myself. Volunteers are key in making youth successful not just at the fair, but year-round. As an adult, I now see it is my turn to make a positive impact on the program, while sharing my passion and talents.
