A retreat designed for girls and their mothers (or other adult females)

The Strengthening Family Treasures: Daughter/Mother camp was held the weekend of February 20, 2009. The camp provided an opportunity for school-aged daughters and their mothers to enhance communication skills, learn more about sexuality, and explore techniques to deal with peer pressure, while spending quality time together. The camp was presented by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension and co-sponsored with Sheridan Lutheran Church.
