Southeast Nebraska Alfalfa & Wheat Expo
The 2026 Southeast Nebraska Alfalfa & Wheat Expo will be held on Friday, August 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Southeast Community College, located at 4771 W Scott Rd, Beatrice. This one-day educational event is tailored for wheat and alfalfa producers seeking the latest insights to improve crop health and productivity. Participants will learn from university researchers, Extension educators and industry professionals, while connecting with exhibitors and fellow producers.
Topics will include:
Transition to organic wheat
Wheat variety selection criteria
Wheat and alfalfa diseases
Alfalfa insect management
Alfalfa and livestock production
Lunch is included. The cost of registration is covered by Nebraska Extension and event sponsors.
