Dear 4-H Organizational Leaders and Independent Members:
October signals the beginning of a new 4-H project year. It is time to reorganize your 4-H club with new officers and projects. Now is a good time to recruit parents and friends of 4-H as project and activity leaders. You are encouraged to involve as many adults as you need in leadership roles to meet the goals of your club.

Club Member Roster (clubs only) – Rosters from 2022–2023 year. Members need to re-enroll for 2023–2024.

Dates to remember:
November 15 • Fall Club Enrollment postcard due
November 30 • Nebraska Associate of Fair Managers – Martha & Don Romeo scholarship application due
January 3 • Club Treasurer’s Report due to the Extension office
January 3 • Deadline for many 4-H award applications, including: Club of Excellence, Community Service, Diamond Clover, Annual Achievement Application, 4-H Council Leadership Award and Outstanding 4-H Member
January 3 • Deadline for many 4-H college scholarship applications, including: 4-H Council, 4-H Teen Council, Lincoln Center Kiwanis, Dick Fleming Leadership & Communication, and Lane Community
February 13 • 4-H Achievement Celebration
ALL 4-H MEMBERS AND LEADERS MUST RE-ENROLL FOR THE 2023–2024 4-H YEAR by going online to https://v2.4honline.com. 4HOnline goes offline for annual maintenance in early October, but reopens mid-October. See the enclosed bright green sheet Re-enrollment in 4-H for more information.

Club Treasurer’s Report — Please complete and return the enclosed Club Treasurer’s Report form even if your club does not have a bank account (if your club holds money, it must have a bank account). Contact the Extension office for more information. Extension is required to file your treasurer’s report in your club’s permanent file.
Insurance — Accident insurance is available to 4-H clubs for a nominal fee for special activities such as workshops and clinics for youth not enrolled in 4-H. Contact our office for a flyer with additional information.
