October 2025
Dear 4‑H Organizational Leaders and Independent Members:
October signals the beginning of a new 4-H year. It is time to reorganize your 4-H club with new officers and projects. Now is a good time to recruit parents and friends of 4-H as project and activity leaders. You are encouraged to involve as many adults as you need in leadership roles to meet the goals of your club.
The following items are enclosed:
- Enrollment/Re-enrollment Information
- All 4-H members and leaders must re-enroll for the 2025–2026 4-H year.
- Club Treasurer’s and Inventory Report (clubs only)
- Please complete and return the form by January 3, even if your club does not have a bank account. If your club holds money, it must have a bank account. Lancaster Extension is required to obtain your Treasurer’s and Inventory Report for your club’s permanent file and to complete the required yearly filings with the IRS. Contact the 4-H staff for more information at 402-441-7180 or lancaster4H@unl.edu.
