Family & Community Education Clubs (FCE)

More than 24,000 Nebraska homemakers are part of the unique organization called "FCE" - Family and Community Education Clubs.

Family and Community Education Clubs are part of a voluntary educational program designed to meet needs and interest of Nebraska homemakers. Groups of homemakers meet on a regular basis, usually once a month, to participate in a variety of educational and social experiences. The leader training lesson is an example of one of the educational programs. These lessons are prepared by Extension specialists at the University of Nebraska.

Lessons may include:

  • Human Relationships
  • Nutrition
  • Food
  • Health
  • Child Development
  • Management of Family Resources
  • Clothing Selection and Care
  • Home Furnishings
