This PowerPoint takes the audience through 4 quarters of football (3 "plays" per quarter) -- complete with touchdowns, fumbles, flags on the play, etc. -- to introduce the basic concepts of MyPyramid.

Objective and Target Audience
- This PowerPoint is designed to introduce the basic concepts of MyPyramid through an interactive “FOOD”Ball game.
- It takes about ½ to 1 hour to play, depending on the amount of discussion you include.
- Additional free resources are listed to assist you in teaching MyPyramid to different age groups.
- Just like all ages watch football, the PowerPoint has been used with 6-year-olds through adults. It’s mostly the discussion you have during the presentation that makes the difference.
Directions for Downloading and Using PowerPoint
IMPORTANT: This slide set is filled with links, animation and sound effects -- read the following tips carefully and PRACTICE before showing it to a group. (This information also is given on one of the slides.)
- Use your computer mouse to click on answers and advance to the next slide for interactive links to work correctly. VERY IMPORTANT!
- Use PowerPoint 2003 to assure animation, interaction and sound work.
- If using a projection screen, set up PowerPoint to also show on your computer screen for ease of using interaction.
- View this PowerPoint in Slide Show format for the questions to be interactive.
- Making changes in the slides and/or their order may destroy interactivity & sound!!!
- Show PowerPoint from computer hard drive for best effect; check sound -- connect speakers to computer, if needed.
