Substituting Prepared Mustard for Powdered Mustard

Prepared mustard

Question:

How can you substitute prepared mustard for powered mustard in a recipe?

Answer:

One tablespoon of prepared mustard is similiar in flavoring power to one teaspoon of powdered mustard. Depending on the recipe, you may need to add slightly less (about 2 teaspoons) of liquid.
