4-H'ers Learn About Horses:
Email Horse Course:
Last winter, Lancaster County 4-H staff member Marty Cruickshank led an Online Horse Study Course for 4-H'ers ages 8-18. Lessons were e-mailed weekly and two fun testing parties with prizes were held. Nearly 150 4-H’ers and family members participated, learning many horse basics.
Though the Horse Course restarted in December, it is not too late to join the learning! This year, more information will be layered in, covering how the basic conformation features tend to affect the horse's movement (form to function). E-mail Marty Cruickshank if you are interested in participating in the on-line 4-H horse course.
