4-H Dog Costume Contest: A Costume Contest was held after the 4-H Dog Obedience and Showmanship Show at the 2008 Lancaster County Fair. The first category was for dogs only in costume, and second category was both dogs and exhibitors in costume.

The dog show utilized dog agility equipment purchased from funds awarded by the 2008 Governor's Agricultural Excellence Award. The award was received by the Canine Companions 4-H Club.
