| Fair Fun Day: Each year, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension in Lancaster County and the Lancaster County Agricultural Society present Fair Fun Day, which provides child care groups an interactive, hands-on experiential tour of the county fair. 4-H teen volunteers serve as tour guides. Included this year was an activity in which youth made plastic out of corn starch and corn oil. |

| Kids Ag Discovery Zone: Lancaster County 4-H and Waverly FFA presented an interactive Kids Ag Discovery Zone which was open 8 a.m.-9 p.m. each day of the county fair.

| Archery Range/BB Gun Shooting Range: The Lancaster County 4-H Shooting Sports Club presented a BB Gun Shooting Range for the second year in a row. New this year was an Archery Range. This was an opportunity for the public to learn proper and safe procedures, and to learn about 4-H Shooting Sports.

| 4-H Corner Stop concession stand: The 4-H Corner Stop concession stand at the Lancaster County Fair is Lancaster 4-H Council's main fundraiser each year. 4-H council financially supports several 4-H programs, activities and scholarships. More than 130 youth and adults volunteered at the concession stand this year!

| Ice Cream Social: Each year, Lancaster County 4-H Teen Council presents an Ice Cream Social to coincide with the Family Barbeque at the county fair.

| Cookie Eating Contest: Coinciding with the Family Barbeque and Ice Cream Social, Teen Council presents a Cookie Eating Contest open to anyone.

| Face Painting: Lancaster County Citizen Washington Focus 4-H members (with support from the Fair Board) provided free face painting to youth during the county fair.
